What do legal fees consist of?
1. Fees under the RVG
Fees are calculated in accordance with the German Lawyers’ Fees Act (RVG) and depend on the value of the matter. In court proceedings, fees must not fall below the minimum rates set by the RVG.

2. Hourly rate
Legal fees depend on the specific case. The hourly rate is typically €300 net.
3. Lump-Sum Agreement
Flat-rate agreement (fixed price or monthly flat rate).
4. Initial consultation
The fee for an initial consultation (without representation against the opposing party) is EUR 250 plus sales tax (capped by law at a maximum of EUR 190 for consumers = EUR 249.90 gross). If we need to review extensive documents, videos, etc., in advance, we generally charge EUR 500 plus sales tax for an initial consultation.
