DEINE AUFGABEN ALS RECHTSREFERENDAR/IN IN DER MEDIENKANZLEI

You will contribute to the success of our law firm with the professional expertise you have acquired during your studies. We will provide you with a legal clerkship for the legal or elective traineeship, in which you will be able to contribute independently on the one hand and rely on professional exchange with us on the other. Your specific tasks will include the following:

– As a legal trainee, you will actively support us in solving our legal cases. You will prepare contracts, statements of claim, court documents and other legal texts and evaluate them with us. The content often involves legal matters relating to influencers, models, artists, agencies or other people or companies from the media industry.
– You will research various legal issues for our clients. You will analyze and review legal texts and court rulings from the fields of copyright, media, press, publishing, trademark, competition, sports, event and/or employment law.
– You will attend court hearings and provide our lawyers with professional support. As part of your legal traineeship, you will gain valuable insights into our negotiation and litigation work.
– At your own request, you will support us in marketing our law firm and work as part of a team to ensure that our social media channels, our blog and our business networks are filled with interesting posts and content.
– You will gain the maximum learning experience for your future professional career – from copyright and competition law to influencer and social media law. In addition, if you wish, you can work on relevant files that will help you in the second state examination at the latest (dunning procedures, enforcement, RVG calculations, etc.).

You are free to choose where you would like to work – either at our main location in Cologne or in Berlin, where we can also provide you with a shared room if required and subject to availability. Alternatively, you can work completely remotely wherever you feel at home. The following applies to our everyday working life: despite our core working hours, we try to organize ourselves as a team in such a way that everyone can work as flexibly as possible. Our office should be the center of our work, but we are also happy to arrange home office days with you.
